Overviews

Default desktop is quite clean, time, battery indicator, wifi signal indicator on the top right. On the screen there are four icons to switch on/off the wifi signal, bluetooth, rotate screen, brightness. It reminds me the UI design of HTC phone.

I have got Adobe Reader, Web Browser, Calculator, Calendar, Clock, Email, File Explorer, Fox News, Gallery, IMDb, iReader, Yahoo Mail, Maps, Google Finance, etc.

Custom Desktops

There are about 5 desktops (slide left or right to switch desktop). T7 is able to customize the desktops by adding shortcuts, widgets, folders and changing wallpaper.

In this example, I added a Gmail shortcut and a News Widget. I try to add more widgets but T7 can hang with too many working widgets. Probably all the working widgets are loading data through the Wi-Fi, the RAM can exhaust quickly.

Facebook on SmartQ T7

Quite comfortable to facebook on T7. I can view everything in a glance.

Business News and Google Finance Updates

For business people they definately need T7 for news updates of stock quotes. Google Finance is a good app to serve the purpose. Market overview on the first page, and your portfolios on the second page, news on the last one.

The responding time of the browser is quite fast, also the typing speed of url. Now I really feel the difference between Android 1.5 and 2.1.

Reading News on T7

The LCD of T7 is quite sharp. It is nice experience to read multi-media news. For text-intensive reading I stilll prefer e-ink ebook reader. But for news updates, people prefer color pictures and short description, isnt it?
