I'm assuming/hoping that the reason it hasn't shipped yet is that allPMP are waiting for the english version. I have asked for clarification on this point via email.

Ha ha well you may have to ask those guys. I do use Linux (mainly SuSE) but I never really got into the more complicated Linux installs.

A wholsaler I know off has been having trouble getting a firm price (with a little profit) for the English version of the SmartQ 5 as he was figuring it was anywhere from $190 to even $210 to $230 with free shipping. At $150 I may still be interested in the English version turns out to work quite well, however at $200+ I may pass as that would be about $230cad.
